Album Art Latin music has been recorded and promoted almost as long as there have been popular recordings for sale of any genre, practically since the first disks were produced over a century ago. While the earliest »albums« often had no cover art, during the 1930s and 1940s some of the first examples of Latin album art came to light on the RCA and Columbia labels in the United States, as well as labels in Brazil, Cuba, and Argentina, among others.
