Chamade
Chamade (Fr.) [Lat. clamare, to call], a row of organ pipes is said to lie en chamade when they project horizontally from the organ case. Only reed pipes are so disposed, chiefly in Spain, where the practice dates back to the 17th c., but some larger Fr. organs include such a stop.
