Kibanda

Kibanda sansa of the Babunda, Bakwese, and Bapende of the Congo, with cane lamellae. The Bapende hollow out their lamellae and fill them with seeds, causing them to rattle when played. Cf. kimbanda (42). Chauvet, Stephen. Musique nègre. Paris, 1929.
