Languid

Languid (Fr.: biseau, languette; Ger.: Kern, Pfeifenkern; It.: lingua), plate of metal fixed horizontally to the upper extremity of the foot of metal flue organ pipes, with beveled front edge. The block of a wooden pipe is sometimes called languid.
