Luhenga

Luhenga small *goblet drum of the Bajok and Batetela of the Congo, with short stem and nailed head. Rubber tuning paste is applied to the center of the membrane. That of the Bajok has a hole pierced in one side, covered with a thin vesicle, a *mirliton device. Played with bare hands (42). Chauvet, Stephen. Musique nègre. Paris, 1929.
