Nsiba

Nsiba 1. wooden trumpet of the Bembe of the Lower Congo, identical with the ludi, played in instrumental ensembles; 2. whistle of the Congo people, made of nsia antelope horn or of ivory; 3. end-blown wooden flute of the Congo people, stopped, with conical bore, no fingerholes, often partly covered with monkey skin to prevent splitting and used during the hunt.
