Suling idong

Suling idong *nose flute of the Sea Dayak of Borneo, made of bamboo. The lower end is open, or a lateral hole may be pierced near the bottom; it has 3 front fingerholes and a rear thumbhole and is 70–100 cm. (28–40 in.) long (176). Sachs, Curt. Reallexikon der Musikinstrumente. Berlin, 1913.
