Tuba-Dupré treble ophicleide with 6 keys, made by Pierre-Paul-Ghislain-Jo-seph Dupré of Tournai, made of wood, and exhibited in Haarlem, Netherlands, in 1825. Mahillon reports that Dupré was a very able builder who had a mania for making in wood all the instrs. that his colleagues made in brass (132, 169).
