Vox angelica
Vox angelica organ stop of varying construction. In former centuries it was built as a 4′ or 2′ reed stop, in N. Germany also as a regal stop at 16′ or 8′ pitch with half-stopped resonators; then as a type of vox humana, in England as a small-scale dulciana, finally, on the Continent as a tremulant stop of flue pipes at 8′ pitch (101, 131).
