Angel Jacobs

Angel Jacobs, probably the patriarch of the Jacobs family, was first listed in 1820 as a watchmaker. Not listed for many years, his name reappeared as a jeweler during the 1840s. From 1850-52, he advertised accordeons among the goods he sold in his shop at 981/2 Chatham Street.
