Morrison, JamesMorrison, JamesJames Morrison According to Howard (1959:48), Morrison was active as a banjo maker in New York from 1883-1910. His banjos »were constructed with a steel hoop 5/16″ in thickness, resting on steel pins inserted in the rim.« This maker can not be traced in the NYCD, however, there were several woodworkers of the same name active in the city during this period.
