GHISELIN DANCKERTSDANCKERTS, GHISELINGHISELIN DANCKERTS [* ca. 1510-† after August 1565] Ghiselin Danckerts, a judge of LUSITANO and VICENTINO in the famous debate on the three genera in 1551, wrote a treatise which promoted his conservative opinion against the »nuova maniera« in music.
