Boquet de Liancourt

Boquet de Liancourt (?; ?), whose name is also spelled Bocquet de Liancourt, was well known in his lifetime for having collaborated with Bouthillier on the libretto of Desormery’s very popular Myrtil et Lycoris of 1777. His reputation was of short duration, however, because this relatively slight effort was his sole contribution to the Opéra, and even such salient facts of his life as the dates of his birth and death have been forgotten.
