Bouquier, Gabriel (1750, Dordogne; 1811, Dordogne), librettist, had a fleeting career in the musical theatre: he wrote an Epître à M. Vernet as early as 1775, but his only contribution to the Opéra was La Réunion du 10 août, done on 5 April 1794, when Bouquier was in Paris representing his department at the National Convention.
