Edelmann, Jean-Frédéric (6 May 1749, Strasbourg; 1794, Paris), composer, was primarily a pianist, but he did the music for the version of the entrée entitled Le Feu from Les Éléments included in the fragments of 24 September 1782. His other contribution to the Royal Academy of Music was the lyric drama in one act, Ariane dans lîle de Naxos included in the same fragments and for which Pierre-Louis Moline did the libretto.
