Gersain
> LIBRETTIST
Gersain (?; ?), librettist, whose name is sometimes spelled Gersin, has not attracted the interest of compilers of biographical dictionaries, and the dates and circumstances of his birth and death remain unknown. It is remembered that he was an actor, however, and that he was endowed with sufficient literary talent to create the libretto for the Rosine of 1786 at the Opéra.
