Léonidas, ou les Spartiates
Léonidas, ou les Spartiates is an opera in three acts with music by Persuis and Gresnick. Guilbert de Pixérécourt provided its libretto. It had its world premiere at the Opéra on 15 August 1799, but it aroused comparatively little interest, and it was dropped from the repertory after its third performance on 29 August 1799, when spectators left only 470 francs 50 centimes at the box office.
