L’Attaque du Moulin was a lyric drama in four acts with a score by Alfred Bruneau and a libretto by Louis Gallet based upon Emile Zola ’s story by the same name. It had its world premiere on 23 November 1898, when the company of the Opéra-Comique presented it in the Châtelet theatre with sets by Marcel Jambon and costumes by Thomas .
