Barbot, Joseph-Théodore-Désiré (12 April 1824, Toulouse; 1 January 1897, Paris), vocalist, started his singing career at the cathedral in Toulouse, but he left his native city to pursue his musical studies at the Paris Conservatoire on 25 March 1843.
