La Burgonde is an opera in four acts and five tableaux with a score by Paul Antonin Vidal and a libretto by Emile Bergerat and Camille de Sainte-Croix . Joseph Hansen created its choreography. It had its world premiere at the Garnier Palace on 23 December 1898, when M. Claude Paul Taffanel was at the desk, and M. Claudius Blanc directed the chorus.
