La Catalane is a lyric drama in four acts with a libretto based upon Angel de Guimerá’a Terra Beixa , Paul Ferrier and Louis Tiercelin wrote its libretto, and its score was composed by Fernand Le Borne. Joseph Hansen established its choreography. It had its world premiere at the Garnier Palace on 24 May 1907 with costumes by Bétout and sets by Amable and Cioccari .
