Dangès, Henri (1872; 8 November 1958), singer, made his theatrical debut at the Opéra-Comique on 11 November 1898 in Barnabé . He was billed for the world premiere of Gustave Charpentier ’s Louise at this same theatre on 2 February 1900, and he enjoyed immense popularity at the Opéra-Comique until he left this theatre to make his debut at the Opéra on 27 January 1908 in Valentin of Faust.
