Le Diable a quatre , known in English as The Devil to Pay, was a pantomimic ballet in two acts with a scenario by Adolphe Leuven and Joseph Mazilier, a score by Adolphe Adam, and choreography by Mazilier. Pierre Cicéri did the sets for the first act and the first tableau of the second act; Despléchin , Séchen, and Diéterle provided them for the last two tableaux. P. Lormier furnished its costumes.
