Enlèvement au sérail is an opéra bouffe in three acts known as Die Entführung aus dem Serail in the original German and as The Abduction from the Seraglio in English. Gottlob Stephanie wrote its libretto based upon a play by Bretzner and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed its score.
