Festin

Festin is a ballet in the form of a suite of dances first performed by the Ballets russes at the Châtelet Theatre on 19 June 1909. Serge Diaghilev’s company brought the work to the Opéra for its initial presentation in this theatre on 19 June 1909. It did not become a part of the repertory at the Opéra, but it was danced there by the Russian troupe on five occasions: 19 June 1909 and 4, 7, 9, 15 June 1910.
