Florestan ou le conseil de dix

Florestan ou le conseil de dix was an opera in three acts with a score by Manuel-Vincent Garcia and a libretto by Etienne Delrieu. The work had been given at the Opéra-Comique on 12 June 1819 under the title of Marini with music by Dourlen s, but it was not well received and was withdrawn. It was then taken to the Royal Academy of Music for its premiere here with its new score on 26 June 1822, but it had to be dropped from the repertory after its fifth presentation on 17 July 1822.
