Le Mage

Le Mage was an opera in five acts and six tableaux with a score by Jules Massenet and a libretto by Jean Richepin . Its choreography was the work of Joseph Hansen. It had its world premiere at the Garnier Palace on 16 March 1891 in a production by Lapissida. The sets were created by Amable and Gardy (tabl. 1, 2, 3), Lemeunier (tabl. 4), Lavastre and Carpezat (tabl. 5, 6). Charles Bianchini designed the costumes.
