La Tempête ou l’ile des genies was a fairy ballet in two acts with music by Jean-Madeleine Schneitzhoeffer, a libretto by Adolphe Adam, and choreography by Jean Coralli. It had its world premiere at the Royal Academy of Music on 15 September 1834, and it enjoyed 24 presentations during its first run ending on 2 May 1836.
