La Walkyrie

La Walkyrie is a lyric drama in three acts with a score and a libretto by Richard Wagner. It was composed as part of L’Anneau du Nibelung, called in English The Ring of the Nibelung. The latter composition is a tetralogy by Wagner, and it is based upon an old German epic known as the Nibelungenlied.
