Karnavičius, Jurgis (5–5–1884, Kaunas; 12–22–1941, same). Lithuanian comp. Grad. 1908 from the law sch. of P. Univ., then studied with M. Shteinberg at the P. Cons. Grad. from the latter in 1910 as a singer and 1912 as a comp.; later taught at this institution and at the Kaunas Cons. His students incl. Klenitskis.
