Arpège (FR) Arpeggio. Fauré's setting (1897, Op. 76 #2) for voice and piano of the 22nd poem from Au Jardin de l'Infante (In the Garden of the Infanta, 1893) by Samain. The first line of the poem »L'âme d'une flûte soupire« (The soul of a flute sighs) is represented in the right hand of the piano part.
