Bonne journée (FR) Good Day. Poulenc's setting (1937, Tel jour telle nuit #1) for voice and piano of the eighth poem from the »Grand air« (Great Outdoors) section of Les Yeux fertiles (Fertile Eyes, 1936) by Eluard. The poem's original title is »A Pablo Picasso« which Poulenc makes into the dedication. Poulenc sets only the first section (17 lines) of the poem.
