EKMAN, IDA (, Helsinki–, Helsinki), a lyric soprano, known in Europe as an oratorio and Lied singer.
Ekman was soloist on the Helsinki Philharmonic's trip to Paris in 1900 fir the World's Fair. Recognized as a Sibelius interpreter, she was the first to give a recital of his songs exclusively, and many of them are dedicated to her.
