KORSHOLM MUSIC FESTIVAL

KORSHOLM MUSIC FESTIVAL , founded by businessman Olav Englund in 1982 and modelled after the Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival (see KUHMO FESTIVAL). The Korsholm Festival, at Korsholm/Vaasa, on Finland's west coast, lasts for two weeks, with daily master classes and evening concerts. Large and small halls and churches in the area are pressed into service as concert halls.
