Harpe ditale

Harpe ditale small harp built by J. Pfeiffer of Paris ca. 1830, with flat resonator and 7 keys for raising the pitch of the strings. Tuned in E♭ with a compass e♭0-e3. Although the name is reminiscent of the *dital harp, Pfeiffer's instr. was based on the *harpinella (176). Sachs, Curt. Reallexikon der Musikinstrumente. Berlin, 1913.
