La Cinquantaine is a pastoral in three acts with a libretto by Desfontaines and a score by La Borde. Its first run lasted from its premiere at the Palais-Royal on 13 August 1771 until 1 October 1771, and it was mounted on 21 consecutive programs during this interval of two months. Revived on 25 August 1772, it was produced on another 26 consecutive occasions until 25 October 1772.
