L’Enlèvement des Sabines

L’Enlèvement des Sabines was billed as a historical pantomime ballet in three acts with a score by Henri-Montan Berton and choreography by Milon . It had its world premiere at Fontainebleau before the emperor and empress on 4 November 1810. It was mounted initially at the Imperial Academy of Music on 25 June 1811 and proved to be quite popular.
