Les Festes de l’été

Les Festes de l’été is an opéra-ballet in three acts and a prologue with music by Montéclair and words by the abbé Simon-Joseph Pellegrin and Mlle Barbier (see seventeenth-century volume for opéra-ballet, Montéclair and Pellegrin). It had its premiere on 12 June 1716, when it was composed of the prologue and the entrées entitled Les Jours d’été, Les Soirées d’été, and Les Nuits d’été.
