Ovide et Julie

Ovide et Julie was originally the act entitled L’Estime in Les Amours déguisés of 1713 for which Louis Fuzelier had written the scenario (see seventeenth-century volume for Fuzelier and Les Amours déguisés). Subsequently this work in a single act was provided with a new score by Philibert Cardonne, and it was renamed Ovide et Julie, although it retained the old words by Fuzelier .
