Le Pied de boeuf

Le Pied de boeuf is a divertissement in a single act with choreography by Maximilien Gardel. It was given initially at the Opéra on 17 June 1787, but its first run ended with its fourth billing on 7 October 1787. Subsequently, however, it was returned to the stage of the Royal Academy of Music on 31 October 1788 for another 11 representations, but it had to be dropped permanently after its 15th performance at the Opéra on 26 March 1789.
