Le Retour d’Ulysse

Le Retour d’Ulysse, entitled simply Ulysse in the 1807 edition of the libretto, was a heroic ballet in three acts with music by L. Persuis and choreography by Milon ; it had its world premiere at the Royal Academy of Music on 27 February 1807. It enjoyed limited success and was withdrawn from the repertory after its 18th performance on 20 October 1808, when it returned only 2,039 francs 88 centimes to the box office on a program with Les Prétendus.
