Rochon de Chabannes, Marc-Antoine-Jacques (23 January 1730, Paris; 15 May 1800, Paris), composer, had Le Deuil anglais produced at the Théâtre-Italien in 1757, and he went on to have seven other compositions performed at the Comédie-Française between 1763 and 1785. His three contributions to the Royal Academy of Music were staged during the latter part of his life from 1780 to 1789.
