La Rosière

La Rosière is an “action” ballet in two acts by Maximilien Gardel that enjoyed 120 representations, although its popularity is difficult to explain now. It was revived in 1796 and 1808 after its premiere on 29 July 1783. Mlle Dorival filled the part of Aline with Louis Nivelon as Alix.
