Saulnier, Guillaume

Saulnier, Guillaume (1 July 1755, Vrigny; ?), librettist, was the author of an unknown number of operas that were neither performed nor printed. He had no fewer than six titles billed at the Opéra, although none of these compositions was especially popular. His first libretto was for Le Portrait of 1790 followed by L’Heureux Stratagème of 1791 and Le Siège de Thionville of 1793.
