Zaïs

Zaïs is a heroic ballet in four acts and a prologue given initially at the Palais-Royal on 29 February 1748. It boasted a score by Rameau and a libretto by Cahusac , and it enjoyed 36 consecutive billings at the Opéra between its premiere and 31 May with slight revisions in its form made for its 23 April representation.
