Anne, Théodore

Anne, Théodore (7 April 1797, Rouen; 12 August 1869, Paris), librettist, was an uncompromising legitimist, and his strong political convictions exercised an irresistible influence upon his literary views. He was editor of La France and theatre critic for L’Union and his opinions as a journalist involved him in at least one duel.
