Gemma

Gemma was a ballet in two acts and five tableaux with music by Count Nicolas Gabrielli, words by Théophile Gautier, and choreography by Mlle Francesca Cerrito . It had its premiere at the Opéra on 31 May 1854, but its music was ineffectual, and it had to be dropped from the repertory after its seventh billing on 8 September 1854.
