Giselle

Giselle is a fantasy ballet in two acts with music by Adolphe Adam, a libretto by Théophile Gautier and Jules-Henri de Saint-Georges, and choreography by Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot. It found a place in the international balletic repertory almost immediately after its premiere on 28 June 1841 and was staged at the Opéra on 400 dates by 18 October 1961.
