Olympie

Olympie is a lyric tragedy in three acts employing the same plot already used by Voltaire and adapted to the operatic stage in 1798 by Guillard . This third version of the intrigue was presented in a libretto by Joseph-Marie-Armand-Michel Dieulafoy and Charles Briffaut with a score by Spontini (see nineteenth-century volume for Dieulafoy and Briffaut ).
