Tarsis et Zélie

Tarsis et Zélie is a lyric tragedy in five acts and a prologue with music by François Rebel and François Francoeur ; its libretto was by La Serre (see seventeenth-century volume for Rebel, Francoeur, and La Serre). The work was not very successful, although the authors composed a new fifth act for it. The tragedy had its premiere at the Palais-Royal on 19 October 1728, and it ran until 7 November 1728.
